A studio visit with… Front
Front is a design studio founded by Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren in 2008 after the completion of their studies in industrial design. Today the work of Front is represented in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. In collaboration with Vitra, the Swedish duo designed a series of objects that portray sleeping creatures: the Resting Animals.
We visited the two designers at their studio in the Stockholm district of Vasastaden, where we became acquainted with their office, their work, their team – and the Resting Animals.
